Hi @marki I'm going to be in Hong Kong next month (so excited!) and that TV streaming box sounds awesome. A heads up on where you found it and what you needed to do to make it work when you brought it home would be great. I'm relatively handy with IT stuff, but if it's a simple plug and play even better.

Been going to HKG for years, real good electronics store is Global Audio & Visual 16th floor Yau Shing Commercial Centre 51 Sai Yeung Choi St Mong Kok go via MTR rail think its exit E2, very busy street, entrance is next Body Shop, prices will amaze you.

I would recommend Johnson rd in Wanchai - there are a heap of "export clothing" ie seconds shops which are worth looking at. Near the Mcdonalds and MTR is the Wanchai computer centre. If I was buying a computer or similar and wasnt that sure what I was doing I would stick to one of the chain brands like Fortress.

@marki I am in HKG looking at an un blocked tech UPRO tv box. On their site it lists Taiwan, Hong Kong and International versions - here they only have the Hong Kong version and tell me it is the same just that it only has a HKG warranty- this sounds realistic, was the one you got a HKG version?

I think so yes. The unblocker is sitting in Berlin now as I don't have access there to anything english except bbc and CNN of course this just won't do. So I have sky news via unblocker and a raft of other channels. Keeps me amused for free. Many films and serials. I am back in Berlin later in November so will definitely catch up with all the channels then. Of course I use VPN to access any channels via foxtel much to there disgust they cannot do anything to stop me. Also If I wanted ABC channels. mAlso use VPN to watch BBC live channels. I register as a londoner and say I do have a licence for watching TV. It all seems to work. I have done this all because I can, not because I particularly need too watch these channels. I just hate being blocked. I don't think I have touched the unblocker for about three months now. Most the stuff I want to watch can be fetched via web internet programs streaming like STAN, for 10 bucks which does not break the bank. I prefer stan because of the organisational techniques and suggestions they put out and the searches I can do.
