I am almost ready to head for the airport .

It passed slightly yo the south through the night. Still raining heavily off and on and windy. Still at Signal No 8 according to the notice board in the hotel foyer, so I am working from the hotel room this morning. Signal No should drop to 3 by lunchtime and it was be safe to venture outside again.

But don't worry, there will be another one through before you arrive! I have been in HKG 4 times this year and each time the Typhoon Signal display board has been used in the hotel.
