Make sure you visit Mona. There’s a terrific new(ish) tapas bar there now that looks out over the water. Terrific drinks.
Mona wine tasting was on the preceding tour, I was impressed with the knowledge of the gentleman at the wine bar as well as the quality of the wines. So a tasting/tapas lunch could be done. The challenge is always drive time between wineries. Fine if we hire a minibus but challenging when we use a driver and their own bus. Lunch at Mona has to beat the dodgy fair we had last time. Never going back there for wine or food.

This will be fun. We'll always spend a few more Taswegan Peso's on a decent lunch.

' Life's too short to eat mediocre food'

I'm usually far too lazy (busy talking) to look at a menu, so Tasting Plates are my fall back position.

Now who is going to be in charge of all the planning?

@Steady, sorry for the delay responding. I've been interstate and largely offline for the last week.

I pretty sure it was the 2017 that was the great Uberblanc that we tasted last year. We tasted the newly released 2018 in February, which wasn't quite as polished. At least that's what I have written in my notes.

You can count me in, if you're planning another tour next year.

We should get a solid plan started and move to a new thread perhaps. Australia Day weekend works perfectly for us. I’m keen to try Wine, Food & Gin. GPH doesn’t drink Gin, so could be a designated driver for that event.

And to save people searching here is the new thread

That “ might” work.
