Qantas decided to move our SYD>MEL flight by 5 minutes, meaning we're now beyond the MCT for the MEL>HBA flight. Consequently, now not arriving until 13:50 tomorrow. Oh well.... a more relaxed start to the morning with more lounge time in SYD + MEL.

Weather certainly looking a bit meh, but as per @Dantas will simply "embrace it".... had been planning on visiting Mt Field National Park this weekend for another bushwalk to Russell Falls, so not sure if we'll need to reconsider that one?

Probably not the thread for it, but does anyone know if the Movenpick provides slippers/flipflops?

Definitely need to scrutinise the forecast carefully,. Russell Falls walk is pretty benign and well travelled so you won’t get into much trouble but it might depend if it’s pleasant or not.

Hmm if Mt Field is Sunday I think that'll be OK, but check the forecast closer to the day. Not sure about the Movenpick slipper situation but I do not recommend bushwalking in them, nor would they be very happy if you remove them from the hotel.

I think you are on the upper level. If you go back out towards the Elizabeth St Mall, on the left is a very nice chocolate shop, if you like that sort of thing. Coal River Farm; On the left
