I asked this one over at FT, but I hope you don't mind me plucking your brains too because I know there's a few members over here who are full of this kind of thing and two heads are better than one!

The usual story, as always. Limited to no availability for when I want to book with QFF points. The best I've come up with so far for 83k points is:

5th Nov: HNL–ANC
3rd Dec: ANC–SEA–YEG
10th Dec: YEG–SEA–SFO–KOA (overnight in SFO).

I'll hit 80k before the month is out, but I might have to buy some wine, go out to dinner and book a room for the weekend. Not a bad idea, come to think of it! :D

I'd jump at the chance to slip in an Alaskan milk run, however, rather than going direct from ANC to SEA. Flights AS64 or AS65, for example, have about 3 stops each including JNU, KTN, etc. In other words, if you have any suggestions to make (albeit in Y) then do share your wisdom. I've been playing with city pairs for ages, with both HNL and YEG the more important ones. Also wondering if Fairbanks is better than ANC but then perhaps that all depends on the scenery. I have seen routes like these for 76k but again, availability seems buggered to none.

Are you freely replacing Calgary YYC for Edmonton YEG? Probably more traffic to YYC and not far on land between the two cities.

Actually I was advocating driving between Calgary and Edmonton  ( As in more air traffic to, therefore options, using YYC as opposed to YEG)

Deerfoot can be bad in peak into the city, but for the right connections to YYC, it's a good option to get to Edmonton.

You guys are great! Thanks to you have decided instead to arrive in Calgary, meet my friends in Banff then, when we tire of such things, to road-trip it north to Edmonton before I fly direct YEG to OGG on WS.
