HND T3 new Centurion Lounge

The new Amex Centurion lounge seems like its finally opened now and with HND being a popular destination for AFF. Location seems to be next to the JL sakura lounge (J)
Was linked a video from a friend made by the first customer if anyone wanted to have a look.

I’ve always assumed an AmEx lounge would be somewhat 2nd-rate … like a SkyTeam lounge in an airport which wasn’t the home of a SkyTeam member. Probably because anyone with an AmEx can get in.

Is that an unfair assumption?

Some Amex cards allow two visits annually, while the higher-end cards (e.g., Centurion and Platinum) allow for multiple visits.

So, anyone with an Amex does not necessarily get in whenever they like, I suppose.

It depends from lounge to lounge but often you would be correct. This one however looks a cut above the J lounges its next to at least in the F&B offerings. Granted this could just be day one offerings knowing a bunch of media would visit.

Also access isn't for any AMEX card but at least the higher tier cards like platinum or above so theres a fair amount of $$ being paid in card fees.

level 4 near Gate 114. I thought with HND T3 theres only one sakura J lounge (granted it spreads over 2 floors).

Sigh, my next trip to HND will be in T2.....nothing there it seems....only the ANA lounge.
