HKG QF J Lounge - not a review

Not a lounge review. Just wondering.

Flying 3K this morning. 1120 am flight. Went to QF J lounge and only pax. I see from the QF website that HKG J lounge is open 530am to 2359pm. Which made me wonder - why haven't they already enhanced this lounge's opening hours like SIN given that there doesn't seem to be any QF day flights?

On a separate note, the enhanced QF lounge opening times in SIN are annoying for a 3K flyer!

Next time, head to a Cathay lounge. Wing or Pier far better than the QF lounge in HKG.

If I could get entry into CX Wing / Pier flying 3K, I would be most interested to know how

Oh, I'm sorry. I was under the impression that Jetstar Asia was allowed into CX lounges if flyer had SG or WP status with QF.

The lounge is also used by BA and others so maybe that's a factor in the opening hours?

3K aren't part of oneworld so that isn't the case

A Qantas Sapphire can use any accessible oneworld airline operated international business class lounge before a oneworld airline marketed and operated flight.

Nice to know I can use it then seeing CX Sapphire is equal too QFF SG.
