Hi all

Just a quickie. My boss is visiting our Hong Kong office on his way to Oz spending a day there. Checking the various govt websites they say that for no visa is required for tourists for up to 90 days but a visa is required for people who want to work. Given this is a meet and greet visit not a lot of work will be happening ;) but similarly it is not touristy.
Any ideas?

Cheers

That is a business meeting, not classified as working in Hong Kong. Working is if you are employed and paid in Hong Kong. As he will still be paid in Australia is is not "working" in Hong Kong.

Cheers - he is though a US Cit living in the US - I dont think that will make any difference.

Just need to work out if he needs a visa for here. He could do this himself but then again he is the one that approves my bonus ;)

For Australia he need an Electronic Visa that should be arranged by his travel agent.
