Holiday Inn Express and Suites Queenstown will be converted into IHG Hotels and Resorts’ premium Voco brand to “unlock long-term owner value”.
The move is in partnership with asset owner, developer and manager, Pro-invest Group, and will reposition the centrally located hotel within IHG’s premium portfolio following a refurbishment to be completed later in 2026.
The repositioning of the 227-room property, operated by EVT Connect Hospitality, reflects a broader shift in the Queenstown market with the conversion representing a “considered evolution of the asset, aligning its prime location, scale and performance profile with a premium brand proposition,” the group stated.
