A quick question for those who have stayed here previously.......

Which side of the hotel is better, City View or Park view?

Only two rooms showing on web check-in, a 27th floor city view or a 31st floor park view......opinions??

Stayed there a few times and can't really remember much difference, pretty much the same view. I think there are a few taller building closer on city view so probably go for park view.

I'm planning a trip there at the moment, so would be interested to know what you picked and if you really could see Mt Fuji from the hotel.

Also, how was the breakfast? Do diamonds get breakfast in the restaurant or lounge only?

Any intel would be much appreciated. Hope you enjoyed your stay.

Diamonds can have breakfast downstairs at the restaurant. It's usually very busy in the morning and the buffet selection is ok, nothing special. I did like the rooms there, upgraded few times to junior suite.

My daughter enjoyed the stay....it wasn't for me, but she did say she could breakfast in three locations. They were upgraded to an exec floor room, but they wanted to check in early (before it was ready) so they took up a low floor guest room instead ....

That flash sale rate looks pretty good. I think I paid 20400 yen which I was pretty pleased with....15000 is great!

Thank you and everyone else for all the help. The flash sale is awesome. Just locked in and loaded. Couldn't get 15,000 but less than 20,000 JPY is pretty good I think.

Does this answer your question then? From the EL. Admittedly, the second picture was taken with a 405m equivalent full frame lens.

I can't get the published sale rates for the dates sought in September but noticed for one of the days, Conrad's suite is just a tad over $500 (inc tax). Is that worth splurging out for?

I'll admit I don't have status with Hilton, but having stayed at this Particular Hilton previously, was a very underwhelming experience, with small room types, poor wifi and a hotel lobby that is far too small for all the pedestrian traffic of people coming and going.
You can get better bang for your buck at plenty of other Hotels in Tokyo IMHO.

I think the room size is just a city based thing. The description says 30m2 which is great compared to most of the other places I've been looking at for in Tokyo. Outside of the major chains like Starwood and Hilton, the average room size is well below that.

Mind you, my last trip was to Europe where most of the rooms were tiny - so my expectations have been significantly lowered!
