Hilton to replace IHG in Kakadu??

I wonder if it will be Hilton stepping in?

HM can exclusively reveal IHG and Kakadu Tourism have parted ways and the hotelier will no longer manage the Gagudju Crocodile Holiday Inn and the Gagudju Lodge Cooinda from March 31, 2014.
HM has been told the decision was reached by mutual agreement between both parties and IHG and Kakadu Tourism “will continue to work closely to ensure a smooth transition of these hotels to the new management team”.
The properties have been managed for 25 years consecutively by IHG and its predecessor Bass and prior to that SPHC (which Bass purchased).
The new management company of both properties will be announced on Wednesday morning (Feb 19) and HM will again exclusively reveal that news.
The current general managers of the two properties – Daniel Lukritz (Crocodile Hotel) and Vanessa Thomson (Cooinda Lodge) – will be staying with the hotels following the conclusion of IHG’s management contract.
No bookings are affected by the changes.

Interesting to see what happens up there, with the local community (traditional owners) using the former relationship to help train and develop their young people, with the aim of permanent hospitality careers. Some of the performers even moving on to external jobs elsewhere within the hotel chain.

The IHG agreement was very broad, covering more than just the hotels, also the visitor centre and other activities.
