I've really enjoyed reading this site but I've been putting off joining for a while now (for different reasons). I'm currently a QF Bronze and a VA Silver (yay for family pooling) but I'm a student so I really don't have that much money to fly around too often . I'm a student as well but enjoy flying a lot. There are definitely many ways and options (some not so direct), to earn status and miles with airlines frequent flyer programs on a limited budget. More than happy to share them. =]
