:)Hello everybody, it is great to see all the valuable information here from so many very smart frequent flyers.
I have been Gold on Qantas for many years, my aim this year ( 31 May 2014 year end) is to finally get to Platinum, though I am not sure how long I could keep it ( I will get all the acronyms one day).
Hope to hear from you, I will try to contribute what little I know when I can,
Cheers

And another welcome aboard mono88. Hope your stay is long and fruitful.

Thanks for the welcomes. I am sure my membership will be great, thanks for the "alphabet soup" acronyms link.
I hope I have many flying hours to read and remember them.
Looking forward to improving my knowledge and making any contribution I can
