Hi fellow AFFs. Travel domestically and international to retrieve human stem cells for transplantation. You may have already seen these couriers with neat little square isothermal boxes. That would be someone's lifeline!

Next trip for me is to Perth in two weeks. See yas around

Thanks Steady. Part of the job description as a scientist is to retrieve the precious cargo for ongoing competency and training. The Aus Bone Marrow Donor Registry has a massive pool of volunteers to do these retrievals!

Hi HVR, very rewarding in this role. Everyday I get to give someone a chance for a new life.

The registry only book flights with Qantas. I believe they have an MOU with them.
