Quick hello to one and all, zero experiance and almost a total newb to this hobby, have managed to redeem a few things over the years but never really made a habit of collecting and using points. Between my wife and I we had a enough velocity points stashed to get to coughet and back and leave in a couple of weeks via Singapore Airlines.
Once I booked this I thought it should be part of my job description to take seriously the accumulation of points when ever possible to fund a regular trip.
We are not huge travellers as I am partially hindered by some long term injuries that prevent a lot of activities.
Have made a concerted effort to accumulate points since making our last booking and seem to be trucking along nicely. Will be certainly looking for a offer with a big points bonus that will give us a good boost.
Look forward to some great reading and how best to exploit the points process.

Cheers
Mark
