Hi all,

Just in the process of negotiating a new job that will require a reasonable amount of travel (20% FTE). Mostly domestic but some APAC and US travel too.

Great to see so many useful threads on getting the best value out of my travel, it looks like I have a bit of reading to do.

Im hoping that I'll be able to salary package a Qantas Club membership before I leave my current job (Melbourne Uni), is anyone able to comment if that's likely to cause issues if Im no longer working there at renewal time?

Welcome aboard llama, I don't know but I would assume once your membership is paid it is paid and you will be ok for 12 months regardless of your change in employment.

welcome to AFF.

You won't have access to the corporate rate or be able to salary sacrifice if you have left that employer. But you can still continue with your own private membership.

Thanks for the welcome folks, yes hopefully there wont be any issues renewing.
Melb Uni certainly has a good rate, so it would be good to lock it in.

Welcome Llama, and don't overlook the AFF corporate rate for QANTAS Club when renewal comes around.

Thanks again for the further welcome.

Sounds intriguing prozac, however I cant see anything at that link.

You should see this list:

Each item will have a description of the benefit, such as the discounted QANTAS Club benefit.
