To date, I still have not received my HHonors membership card. I have been a member for six months (thanks to VA comp Gold) and am nearing diamond status. And yet, I received no card from HHonors when I signed up; I received no card after calling the HHonors customer service centre in the US and requesting one; I received no card after requesting one to be posted via the website. My address is correct. I don't understand why it is so difficult?

Has anyone else had this problem? How long does it usually take for the card to arrive?

Varies between several weeks and never.
 
Expect to never be asked to produce the card. Even if you offer it at check-in, they won't look at it. That's my experience.

Also, expect to never receive one and you won't be disappointed.
 
Approximately 6 weeks. However, I believe that is a card issue date of 6 weeks after your first stay at a Hilton property. Therefore, stay somewhere, then wait 6 weeks and check the mail.

If you have issues - try emailing. They have always been very prompt to reply to my email concerns.

Been a Gold for over 12 months and have requested a card via their website three times and received nothing. Even asked the Hilton Cairns staff six months ago to look into for me and nothing.

Did you place the request with the Aussie email center, or the US/Worldwide site? - address found on their customer contact page and listed above.

I've had a chuckle over the cards numerous times. For months.......nothing despite numerous requests via the web, HH, diamond desk. Now I'm a proud owner of a full house of HH cards.......blue, gold, diamond and to complete the set just yesterday in the post.....silver! All with a multiplicity of expiry dates.

I gave up when my diamond came through with 2014......that'll do me, chief!
 
I haven't yet worked out a reason to have the card in my possession. All the details that HHonors needs are in my profile.

Maybe someone has discovered a reason to hold this card. Anyone care to share, please?
 
From what I've read posted in other threads, it seems to be an issue with the VA offer. I earned Gold and each card along the way (including one of the Promo Hilton Racing ones) arrived within a few weeks. I also availed of the Visa offer (discussed around Christmas on another thread) to get a gold membership for a family member who never had Hhonors and even that arrived in around a month.

But don't worry, you definitely don't need the card. If you'd like something to show, download the Card Star app (available for all smartphones) and add it on there. Not only is the card one of the ones available to use, but Hilton actually pay to then post "deals" which you can view within the app. So I'm pretty confident that Hhonors have endorsed it.

Mine has nothing to do with the VA offer. I was Diamond last year.

I started a new job. As part of that new job I was asked to fill out a profile with all my frequent flyer/hotel/car memberships so that bookings can be made seamlessly. For this I was able to quote my HHonors number without checking the website, courtesy of the card! :)
