Interesting news, thanks. Anyone know if this extends to the NRMA-owned ThriftyAustralia? I presume not?
 
Hertz just get bigger and bigger in the US/Europe it seems!

Would suggest this doesn't change Australian operations

This was part of the deal as well Hertz buying Dollar Thrifty for $2.3 billion - MarketWatch

Hertz also said it had struck a separate agreement to sell its Advantage unit to Franchise Services of North America and Macquarie Capital, the investment unit of Australia's Macquarie Group Ltd. (AU:MQG)(US:MCQEF). Terms for the Advantage transaction, which Hertz said was contingent on the Dollar Thrifty deal, weren't disclosed, and shares of Macquarie rose 0.9% in Sydney.
