I would love it if someone with enough points (56,000+) would be kind enough to check how much the taxes are for a Classic Award from London (LHR) to (YYZ) in BUSINESS and PREMIUM ECONOM. I don't have enough points just now to find out.

I'm thinking of trying to gather up enough points for a work trip in September but want to know if the taxes make it just as smart to pay full fare instead of parting with points.

Would really appreciate any help :)

J = 129k points + GBP496
Y+ = 100k points + GBP443.65 (note the New York (LGA/EWR to YYZ return leg is in Y here,Y+ only LHR - EWR/LGA legs)

London - New York on BA,New York - Toronto on AA

Are you after the taxes or taxes and surcharge/fees ? A big difference

OP is looking at what the $$ are on top of points cost, in that context their definition makes no difference, it's still payable!
