Help with through check baggage at Heathrow

Sorry I forgot to mention it’s the club euro fare but you can’t get a refund.

Plus is the lowest fare that comes with a checked bag. The only fare that is lower, is the no checked baggage fare.

BA has free Change on the Day for any fare that’s not HLO (UK domestic and Euro). Since you were on a stand-alone, you could have gone online to see if the system would let you change to an earlier flight.

Prior to the day of flight, you’ll see fare difference etc, but on the day, if there’s free seats, it’ll be free. Trick is to be on the system at midnight GMT (I think). We did one flying BUD-LHR. Worked a treat - apart from getting up a 2am to change the flight….
