I'm trying to book a flight to the States for the end of May this year. Basically what I want to do is travel SYD-LAX and stop for three days, then LAX-LAS for five days then LAS-JFK for a few more days, then return JFK-SYD (via LAX on QF).
So far I've worked it out booking each flight seperatly (ie: SYD-LAX-SYD, then LAX-LAS, LAS-JFK and JFK-LAX). Now I know QF operate SYD-JFK via LAX, so is there anyway I can book a SYD-LAX-JFK fare (basically the same price as SYD-LAX) however not use the LAX-JFK sector? It works out cheaper that way as opposed to booking them all seperatly.
Is there any reason why I couldn't book it and not fly? Or is it a customs/immigration issue? I hope that all makes sense...
Thanks
