Hello All,

I'm hoping someone can help. I have friends arriving from the UK via HKG on CX into SYD at 2050. They have a flight booked SYD-PQQ the next day with QF at 15.50 on a separate ticket.

Can they go to the QF transfer desk at SYD International when they arrive and check their bags and get their boarding passes for that next day's flight? Or, failing that, as they want to go into the city in the morning, how early can they drop their bags at QF domestic?

Thanks in advance.

They won't be able to check in the day before. For a domestic flight from Sydney QF will accept dropped bags up to 6 hours before the departure time. So they could drop their bags in at 9.50 am and then head to the city for a few hours.

Thanks Opusman!
