Re: Help! Virgin Velocity eStore refuses to allocate points, despite advertising emai

Little bit off topic but I had a similar issue, where I had gone through the e-store to buy a pair of shoes.

For a week afterwards no purchase was showing up under the pending transactions for the e-store. I put in a claim for the missing points and uploaded the receipt and four weeks later was credited with 12 points to the dollar rather than the 4:1 advertised!

Just got an email saying to ensure cookies are enabled for future purchases.

Really depends on the person who deals with your issue IMHO.

Good to see Velocity can do the right thing every now and then.

Not sure how this is similar. You actually purchased from the e-store. unlike the OP.

I've had some experiences were cookies weren't enabled by accident etc and I did not receive the points, even though I went through Virgin eStore, its just an unfortunate mistake.
As members have said, Virgin receive referral fees from the online stores, enabling them to provide members points.

Just remember to go through the store next time! (And welcome to AFF)
