hey guys
just read alot through the forum... but as a last resort thought id ask anyway

i know the jetsaver flights are not passenger changeable...
however my sister has return jetsaver tickets for perth leaving in 2 days... she is not able to go now... so i said id buy the tickets off her if i can get my name one them so i can fly...

after argueing with a jetstar phone employee... i realise this is harder to do than i thought.. aside from getting her to check-in for me at the airport and passing me the boarding pass... and hoping they will pass me as her

or

calling back and say i had a sex change...

anyone had any luck with this? or any 'loopholes' that people know of?

help asap would be appreciatd.. as i think after 24 hours i will have 0 chance of ticket changes..

thanks...

Welcome to AFF!

Unfortunately, name changes on Jetsaver fares can't be done.

Also, I don't know how you'd go about getting your sister to check in for you on a return trip, as that'd involve her being in perth as well, and that kind of defeats the point.

You can do Online Check-In. Sometimes the gate agent will check ID, sometimes not. Might be a bit sus though if you're not the same sex as your sister...

OLCI or machine check in is the way to go. I checked in my wife at SYD on Monday. She had a JQ Light booking. Thence to QP and boarding after that no one looked at the BPs. You may feel guilty but it will cost you $100 to change the details of a Jetsaver booking

I believe after losing the previous battle over fees for name changes, Jetstar stopped allowing them

Is the risk really worth it if you get caught :?:

Probably even worse on the way home :!:

Yeah, Perth is not a place that you'd want to buy a last minute airfare from, especially if you like money.

If you really want to go to Perth, check Tiger for a cheap flight. But I certainly wouldn't attempt what you're planning.

Exactly my point.
