Guess you could call me plane obsessed, I love knowing whats going on in the airline world. Wish I could travel more then once or twice every 2 years.
I am considering taking up a flight attendant roll but I'm assuming It won't be soo enjoyable after a while.

Yes i imagine after a bit it could get to seem like work, bit like people who travel for work saying its not all its cracked up to be when infrequent flyers say how lucky they are...

And not sure how good the pay is, at some point it did cross my mind then i think i looked at the pay and worked out i was probably better off to keep doing what i was doing and earning enough money to be able to pay for travel (all self funded unfortunately) and enjoy it rather than spend 2 days here and there and serve a bunch of DYKWIAs or the general public.. Not even sure if there would be a seniority thing over which people got to bid or get first choice over the best routes...

But while maybe considering some of that, don't let it dissuade you from it if its something you have wanted to do, could probably be quite fun for a while if your circumstances and career aspirations lined up...

I think it would be interesting to be part of the cabin crew. If I wasn't getting ready to retire I would give it some serious thought.
