Hello,

I joined this forum at the end of 2013 to post on the "how much have you flown in 2013" thread which got me hooked on tracking flights, status credits etc so is about time I introduce myself.

I am based in Singapore and I am QF WP up to the end of Sept 2015. Looks like I may have to look at flights with QR, MAS, UL and JQ after 1st July to retain WP beyond Sept 2015.

Love reading the posts some amazing knowedge on this site.

Hi Hvr and all thanks for the welcome,

I didnt get the lingo for MR's presuming you mean status runs. I am fortunate enough that I dont need to start doing any SC runs specifically to maintian WP until 1st Oct this year.

Although SC will reduce from 1st July there are quite a lot of options from SIN. Got my eye on CX from SGN. These fares in I class are even cheaper than out of Taipei as low as USD1,811 so with a 3K from SIN to SGN and presuming I class will get SC will go a fair way to getting 1200 points and 4 squiggles.

Also would like to try new AY biz seating in to Europe and the new AY biz checkin area at SIN.

SC's in Asia dont seem that affected post 1st July so dont see any issues retaining WP.
