Health issues for long haul flying

Had a close friend get DVT from sitting in the Passenger seat of a car when travelling from Melbourne to Sydney for the Olympics; She is still walking with a limp.

Yes, and I feel for her.

But, seriously, you could get DVT just lying in your bed at night.

As another poster said, you are either susceptible or you aren't...

So please don't blame air travel.
