Headphone shortage

Have been told on a BNE-SIN flight that there is a “headphone shortage across the network”. Has anyone else experienced this?

There was a post here in AFF related to headphones shortage a few months ago … may be the shortage is back. ?

No headset (thus inflight entertainment) on QF1 6/9/22

ohh no i'm flying on QF51 Christmas day with the kids!!!

are you in economy or Business?
 
It’s always a good idea to bring your own headset in any case for long haul flying. The complimentary headsets provided in economy are terrible. A good noise cancelling headset is a great purchase.

I flew QF51 in Economy. They seemed to have enough but headphones weren’t waiting on the seats. Instead they made an announcement that there was a shortage and only to take a pair when the passed through if you didn’t have your own.

thanks, we're flying in J so hopefully enough J headphones. no email received advising of shortage
