Have you accidentally booked the wrong flight?

I’m a bit OCD (always check door handles twice if it needs to be locked) and luckily this has never happened to me with a flight.

But I have once booked a restaurant (I think it was in Cairns for all places) and somehow booked it for 2033 or something like that. My hubby and the restaurant staff found it absolutely hilarious and luckily, they still found us a table.

For me, it only confirmed why I usually have OCD though

I checked the flight time and it looked correct. Then I submitted the button and then I have a plane ticket now. I checked the flight time and realised that it isn’t my flight time. Then I found out that my flight time was fully booked. Then I called the airlines and they can change to my correct flight time. Interesting one… and have no idea how the ticketing system work.

I like the airlines that offered free cancellation in 48 hours. For example the tour can’t make promise the date will be available. Then I can cancel the plane ticket asap!

My biggest "accidental" booking was a flight to Adelaide while in a late-night booking haze and booked for June instead of July. A painful rebooking fee.

Now, I have a rule: never hit 'Confirm' after 10 PM.
