Further, as of March, Delta will not allow exotic emotional support animals including ferrets, insects, spiders, goats or animals with tusks or hooves to fly.

Best get in quick then...

The woman with the pig will always win the has "it reached its peak" of stupidity question. (and how it ever got close to a boarding gate still blows my mind).

I sometimes wonder what the forefathers and mothers of the USA would think of their citizens today. if they saw this BS going down.

I thought that was just for super fresh catering? :)

That was my first thought too, especially with the pig. It looks pretty big so she's doing well lifting it. It would solve any argument about who/what to eat first if the plane went down.

At the risk of sounding like an Ozbargainer, has anyone tried to claim a human as an emotional support animal?

I would be very FRIGHTENED if I had to sit next to PEACOCK on plane.
I think they are very SINISTER looking bird and if the tail comes out it will NOT be good.

This has been coming for years. All animals, other than guide dogs, should be in the hold. If they can't safely travel there, then the only way they should be flying is as part of the meals.

The woman in question, is an 'artiste' of sorts. And was told prior to arriving at the airport the animal would not be allowed to board.

Smacks of self promotion a little. Any publicity is good publicity as they say.

Can you imagine... the lady sits in window seat, you have the aisle, and PEACOCK sits in middle seat! This is horrible thought. It may also try to PECK at inflight meal

Last year I carried a stone carved Moai statue from Easter Island-Atlanta-Nashville-Atlanta-Los Angels-Sydney and each time I got secondary (thanks, hubby!).

Wonder if I claimed it was my support pet rock, would it (I) have been treated better?

My parents carried a stone carving (10kg) HRE-LHR-VIE-FRA-SIN-MEL.
