I love being able to click from the main forum page to the first unread post in a topic. It seems a shame not to have this very useful function in the sub forums. Any chance of adding it?

If you click on sub-forum it lists all threads and you can see the latest unread posts.

Are you referring to the AFF app?

I'm talking about the normal website.

If I go to 'Credit Cards and their Loyalty Programs' forum then the column on the far right contains a link that will take me to the last unread post. For 'Current Credit Card Promotions' this is currently a post about an Investsec credit card. So I can easily get to the last unread post about Investsec.

If however I'm more interested in posts about the ANZ Platinum credit card I click on the 'Current Credit Card Promotions' sub forum link.

Once on this sub forum page I see no link that will take me to the last unread post for any of the topics. So instead I end up clicking the 'go to last post' link and scrolling up. If the topic is hot I'll often have to click back a page or two before I find where I'm up to in the thread.

Not a fatal flaw obviously, but would be nice to have the 'go to first unread' option when in the 'Current Credit Card Promotions' (or any other) sub forum.

ProggerPete,

Not quite sure what you mean.

If you click on the little down arrow to the left of the thread title it takes you to the first unread post. If you right click it you can then view it in a new tab which is very handy as you can then open a few at a time.
