In about 3 weeks time I'm flying from Brisbane to London via Sydney on Qantas. Im really looking forward to it as I have been flying to Europe 5-6 times a year for the last 4 years and this is the first time that I've had the means to book a business class fare. Im just wondering if anyone here has flown to London recently as Im curious about what meals are currently being served on this route.

Cheers
Andrew

Is Select on Q an option in your booking yet? that should show you a number of meal options for the flight.

Only ever done it on QF1 in F. so keen to know how you go

I did it in J about a month ago. I don't remember what I ate but i have the menu's at home. I didnt select in advance. I can dig them out if you want or if there is something specific you wanted to know.
But i understand menu's vary from timr to time so it likely wont be what I had

Here are the menu's from my QF1 flights. There is the SYD to DXB and DXB to LHR.

Thinking back now that i read it again.
I had the Couliflour Soup & Spatchcock on the first segment
and the Duck Salad on the second leg. Breakfast card you cant keep but i think i had scrambled eggs with sausages and then asked for a croissant with jam .

Anyways i hope that helps and is what you were after

OP, if given an opportunity to get an F international ensure you accept.
I assume you might be PS or SG by now.

Flew DXB-LHR in J earlier in the month.. menu was as above, I got the chicken schnitzel sandwhich for supper and would highly recommend it.

Cooked breakfast has no bacon, so I gave that a pass.. however the non-cooked options are quite nice (unlike in Y). Highlight was the waffles with something like apricot jam and yoghurt, plus a small serve of bircher muesli & milk and a croissont.
I have the menu above but sadly didn't save the breakfast card to photograph as you hand it back. There was other stuff on it also.

There are some great options around with different airlines these days. I just use qantas because I find it really easy to earn points and im able to use them to pay for my domestic holidays.
