Half the plane with seats reserved?

Just booked a flight ADL-SYD two weeks away. Booked Flexi and was expecting to be pre-allocated my usual 3c/3d only to find I was given 18C! Looks as if half the plane has been blocked off...

Does anyone know why this would be or experienced anything like this? It seems only to be for this flight. I could hardly believe that all those seats have been taken already by Plat/Gold and Flexi Fares.

Port Adelaide play Syd Sat 14th Apr then Adelaide play GWS on the 21 Apr, both games in Adelaide so it might be what markis said!
