Hainan Airlines Delays/Cancellations

On Thursday 13 July 2017, HU7993, the redeye from XIY down to SYD - a substantial 11 hour flight sector - with A332 B-6133 is arriving at around 0733 hours, 63 minutes late.
 
HU7901, the 1655 hours Friday 21 July XIY to MEL that did not take off until 2118 hours (A332 B-6519) looks to be arriving on Saturday 22 July at 0956, 215 minutes behind schedule. As the twice weekly return flight HU7902 is timetabled to depart at 0820, it should be at least three hours late in pushing back.
 
On Thursday 27 July, the longish XIY - SYD flight HU7993 (A332 B-6133) should arrive 50 minutes tardy at 0720 hours.
 
HU7994 (0825 hours relatively early morning SYD long trek to XIY, A332 B-6089) took off at 1028 hours on Sunday 30 July. Predicted arrival is at 1938, 113 minutes behind the eight ball.

Tuesday 8 August sees HU7901 (the overnight from distant XIY down to MEL) likely to arrive at 0843, 143 late. Plane is A332 B-6118.
 
Thursday 10 August sees HU7993, which took off in XIY 50 minutes last night after schedule departure suggested as arriving in SYD at 0731 hours, 61 late. Aircraft is A332 B-6519.
 
On Sunday 13 August, HU7994 (1125 hours SYD - XIY) took off at 1128. Arrival for A332 B-6088 should be at approximately 2038 hours, 173 minutes behind schedule.
 
Sunday 24 September has HU7994 (0825 hours SYD - XIY that took off at 0941, A332 B-6519) suggested as arriving in teh distant mainland Chinese city at 1830 in the early evening, 45 late.
 
Tuesday 10 October 2017 sees HU7901 from XIY to MEL arriving at 0812, 52 minutes late. The 0920 hours HU7902 back on the longish trek to XIY should only be marginally late departing, again showing the value of international airlines (where possible with slot availability) having longer than minimum scheduled turnarounds.
 
Newish flight HU483 from CSX to MEL (A332 B-6088) is arriving on Thursday 19 October at about 0750, half an hour behind.

The XIY - SYD long flight HU7993 is also delayed with A332 B-6133 set to pull in at 0837 hours, 67 minutes late. HUU7994, the 0925 hours back to XIY will be unable to depart before 0950.

Thursday 2 November sees the overnight XIY down to SYD, a lengthy flight (A332 B-6116) arriving at 0800, 40 late.
 
HU7993, the overnight XIY - SYD - quite a long flight - with A333 B-6520 should arrive on Thursday 9 November at approximately 0920 hours, two hours tardy. HU7994, the scheduled 0920 hours return will be unable to depart until at least 1035 hours going by the standard 75 minute turnaround for this size of an aircraft.

Despite its shareholding in VA, HU continues to have a very low profile in Australia despite how it flies to a famous mainland Chinese tourism hotspot. On Tuesday 16 January 2018, HU7901, the overnight from XIY down to MEL (A332 B-6088) should arrive at 0745, 45 minutes behind the schedule.
 
HU7901, the 1655 Monday 26 March long flight from XIY down to MEL that took off at 1921 with A332 B-6118 is arriving on Tuesday 27 at 0928 hours, 128 minutes late. The 0920 hours return flight (HU7902, quite logically) should be able to depart from about 1045 if all goes well.
 
Monday 3 May 2018 has HU484, the 0820 hoyrs MEL - CSX that took off at 0906 with A332 B-6089 likely to arrive at 1718 hours, 33 minutes tardy.
 
Thursday 10 May 2018 sees HU484 (scheduled 1020 hours from MEL up to CSX) not having become airborne until 1046 hours. A332 B-6118 should arrive at 1846 hours, 121 minutes tardy.
 
HU7901, the redeye from XIY down to MEL is arriving on Saturday 26 May 2018 at an estimated 0720, an even hour late with A333 B-8016.
 
Sunday 27 May 2018 sees HU79994 (0900 hours SYD up to XIY) not having taken off until 0931. Arrival for A333 B-8287 is expected at 1847, 62 late.
 
Sunday 1 July 2018 had HU7994 (0900 from SYD to distant XIY) having taken off at 1119 hours with B-6520, an A333. Arrival should be at 2049 tonight, 159 late.
