Guests pay for negative reviews

I wonder what the credit card company would say if you did a charge back?

Hope they go broke.
 
And people use their real names when reviewing hotels?
 
I know guests can be unfairly malicious and frivolously slanderous with negative reviews, but this is taking the mickey.

I'd like to see how this would hold up in a court of law.

This kind of threat may work in socialist parts of Europe (e.g. France), but good luck for other jurisdictions.....

There is only 1 that I know of but he has since switched handles.

Unless you mean the hotel will try to cross reference JohnK with someone that stayed at the hotel and wrote a review on TripAdvisor as JohnK_BNE.... even though JohnK actually lives in SYD.
 
If this idea catches on I should be able to make a killing from my annual performance reviews at work.
