Hello all,

I have booked business class tickets to London with Singapore, so I will have lounge access. However, I also have velocity gold. My stepson (adult) will also be traveling with us but in economy. My question is, can he have lounge access with us as a guest from my velocity gold?

Thanks everyone for your helpful replies!

Hello all,

Yes, you will be able to guest him into lounges in Australia, Singapore and London.

In Singapore you can only guest him into the "Krisflyer Gold Lounge" - this is a different (and lower) lounge than the SilverKris Lounge which you will be able to access as Business Class passengers.

In Australia and London there is only the SilverKris lounge which is fine with Velocity Gold, so you will all get into the same lounge.

Of note - in my own personal experience, I have been able to bring in a guest travelling in economy to the SilverKris lounge in Singapore when i was travelling in business and velocity gold - but that was probably flexibility from the lounge agent on the day.

Can a guest who’s not travelling go into the dom J lounge with a person holding a BP?

I am not sure about the T&C, but I have never been asked for BP of my guests. Indeed, if using one of the machines at the entrance, the machine merely prompts for the number of guests.

The same for QF domestic lounges; never been asked for guests' BPs.
