The US CDC has released three reports which seem to confirm, or mark as 'highly probable' that mass infections have occurred on commercial flights:

The trouble with those reports is that the CDC seems to becoming more and more unreliable - either through political interference or incompetence - by the minute.

On Friday they released a report "acknowledging that fine particles floating in the air may spread the virus". Then on Monday they say that it was released in error.

Of course it can be transmitted. Everything is possible. I could catch chlamydia on a plane. It all depends on what one does and what preventative measures are taken.

Article 3 TL;DR: A transmission occured, very likely it was a couple in J that contaminated two staff.

Article 2 TL;DR: Very likely a transmission occured, one person was contaminated by one of the 6 asymptomatic, it probably occured while going to the bathroom.

Too tired to read article 1 tonight. I am not particularly alarmed by the fact reported in article 2 and 3 though.

Article 1 was possibly the most significant. 1 pax likely infected 12 others.
