Group Bookings with Airlines

I am wondering if anyone knows, there is a big group of us wanting to head over to the States, from Sydney, probably about 10-15 of us. Will airlines be willing to do any group bookings with a discount at all?

Anyone got any experience on this?

Just a FYI, group fares are generally more than the best fare of the day as they allow more flexability.

Concur... better off just booking the best available fare... UNLESS that flexibility is at all likely to be needed!

I find that travel complications increase geometrically as the number of peorple travelling together goes up! If you can get 15 people just to agree on which airline/flight to take you're doing well IMO! :mrgreen:

Yeah decided it would be easier with 3 or 4 of us. I am considering going J currently as we will only be there for 4-5 days max. Delta have decent fares but would be prefere *A but $3k difference currently.
