I'm based out of Canberra, and have been travelling a little more than average this year so thought the site would be useful.
Also started chasing credit card sign up bonuses at a slow pace from early 2019, and aim for 1-2 per year. Until now it was 20+ years of just swiping the rewards card/s and missing credit card sign up bonuses while slowly accumulating points per $ spent. Now, finally have enough QFF points for one of those RTW rewards bookings in Business Class. Just need to be able to book 12 months in advance, which will be more challenging than accumulating the points. It does seem like the best value redemption, though, and should present a great escape during long service leave.
Hope to learn how to make best use of my travel opportunities and points with both Velocity and Qantas FF.
