Great to be on board and thanks for the welcome

I do domestic and some international although not that much as before..GFC etc.

Fav airline would be Continental though more a memory. Yeah I know it sounds weird but the main reason was I was flying between Houston and Mexico City and I left my camera on board. The hostie tapped me on the shoulder and gave it to me a good 100 metres from the gate. I was very impressed by that. But generally I enjoy any airline I travel on really.

Funniest thing would be the safety briefing on AirNewZ. What thu?

It was 23.5kg! Mind you it was a different "pack" than usual. A bit more paperwork I suppose tipped me over. Paper I realise is quite heavy. It was about the thickness of a ream of reflex roughly..

$75 later......!

yeah those scales never work in our favour do they.. it's like the old mobile phone bills before the unlimited plans these days.. never less than we expect. I almost got caught out in ADL. I had a day off before going back home and I raced up to buy some of the Barossa's finest. Anyway, I was over by a few kgs even with Q Club! So the lady at the check in desk said to put one of the bottles in my backpack. Trouble was, I had it (backpack) packed to the hilt with merlot. Lucky I saw a friend going home as well (different city) and sold him the bottle for $10. It cost me $50. He saw my plight and took full advantage.
