Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Actually they send you some gin prior and then you have virtual booze fest
I had assumed that but I actually couldn’t see that detail in the description / Ts&Cs! Not that I looked too closely…

At this stage, I'll be taking the 10,800 point haircut to extend my 90k miles by six months from April 2022.

I was considering an apple watch from the store because you could probably sell it for close to RRP here, but concerned with SIM slot incompatibility and customs.

you could spend up big on junk in the KrisFlyer store if the points will ultimately be wiped. Be careful that any goods >$1000 will attract GST and about $150 in fees on arrival here in oz.

but what he said ^^ I cant see this coughe ending in 2022
I’ve been looking into this to get rid of my KF points - but got there’s so much cough on that site I really can’t be bothered and paying for the delivery feels like throwing good money after bad for stuff I don’t want. I’m going to do a deep dive and see if there is a charity donation option.

VA2 flight redemption?

Not for everyone, but with the quirk of the KF chart for VA redemptions (which divides Australia into three zones, WA+ XCH/CKK, NT and the rest, the best value award is probably HBA-CNS, 21K in business, 11K in economy ... further than MEL-PER for half the KF miles.

Thanks
I cannot enter Perth until I receive my concurrent telegram from the Queen on my centenary so suits

Singapore Airlines Extends PPS Club And KrisFlyer Elite Statuses For Third Year, And Enhances Programme Benefits

13 Jan 2022 - Singapore Airlines (SIA) is extending PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite statuses, rolling over Elite miles, pausing the expiration of miles in 2022, and introducing new programme benefits that further rewards its loyal members.

Extension of PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Memberships, Rollover of Elite Miles

All PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite statuses that are due to expire between March 2022 and February 2023 will be automatically extended for another year1. This supports our members, who have been unable to fly as before due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and follows a similar extension in 2020 and 2021.

Elite miles earned by KrisFlyer Elite members, in the 12 months prior to the latest extension, will be credited back into their accounts after the extension. Elite miles earned during the previous membership qualification cycle will also count towards their requalification in the March 2023 to February 2024 cycle.

Extension of KrisFlyer Miles, PPS Rewards and KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards

KrisFlyer miles that expire in 2022 will be automatically extended by six months at a time, at the end of each month2.

Rewards earned from the PPS Rewards and KrisFlyer Milestone Rewards3 that are due to expire in 2022 will be extended to 31 December 2022. This offers members greater flexibility in utilising the rewards earned from flying with SIA.

Looks like I will not need my newly earned Gold Elite Status to extend my miles for free now ;)

Though having said that I am now Gold till Nov 23 as became Gold in Nov 2021 due to status promo , and have already re-qualified for renewal in Nov 2022. It will then drop to Silver in Dec 23, meaning that I will be still be able to extend points for free till Nov 2024. So that may still be handy.

so from that link,
for regular Kris miles, anything expiring in 2022 will be extended by 6 months, so the earliest anyones miles are going to expire is 1st july 2023, if this is the case, thats great!!
