Advice on Gold Coast Restaurants please -Sunday Sept 4 - which would you learned AFFers consider better to enterTain my State Rep - Hurricane‘s Grill & Bar OR Brazillian Flame Bar & Grill?

Haven't tried Hurricane's Grill & Bar but went to Brazilian Flame Bar and grill end of 2020. We thought it was okay, nothing special. Have been back to the Gold Coast 3 more times since then and never gone back to Brazilian Flame Bar and Grill.

Brazilian’s a good meat feast if your rep is into that. Skewer after Skewer Brough to your table.

While I’ve not been to Hurricane (GC), my understanding is that it’s a chain/franchise. So if you’ve been to Hurricane at Darling Harbour (which I have) then I’d expect it to be similar.

Both are good, without being brilliant. IMO it comes down to whether you want a meat buffet (Brazilian) to a la carte (Hurricane).

I was in the GC two weeks and went to a great little restaurant called “the north room”. Only sits approx. 20

@Cruiser Elite any report from your GC visit? We're heading up for the Cup long weekend so interested if you have any feedback from your visit.

Ok we were only on GC 1 night and we did indeed go to the Brazilian Flame Bar and Grill - really just so so and prolly wouldn’t bother again - a lot of the staff were actually Brazilian but TBH I have been to plenty better Churrascaria

The GC is a big place. Recommendations would depend on where you are staying and if you have access to a car.
