Hi

For some strange reason, I wish to visit Beijing during the olympics.

I have two questions

1) does any one know if Qantas has announced/will announce additional flights during the olympics. It seems like its one per day only from Sydney.

2) Should I want to use my Singapore KrisFlyer miles, will they allow me to book a flight on china eastern (and do I want to?)

Oh any suggestion on where to stay (I was looking at the equivalent of staying in Newcastle and commuting in to save $) would be handy.

Thanx

Qantas have announced extra flights to Beijing during the Olympics. From memory it is a daily service.

Yes, the increased it from 3 a week to a daily service over the period around the Olympics.
