Oh C'mon -please - anytime......we're waiting.......and we're more trustworthy than half those NEXUS types anyway ;)

give them time to catch up.....

I'm impatient, I don't like waiting.

And my least favourite place to wait is in line at LAX - it's demoralizing, life-draining, energy-sapping, and whenever I'm waiting in line for Counter 58, all I ever hear over the PA is requests for "(insert non-English language)-speaking CSR to Counter 58"....

Bring it....

I presume the next logical step is for APEC cards to have similar rights in the US - but I can't see it happening soon. Global entry / NEXus etc are great, and have other countries stumbling over themselves to appease the world leader - but yes, rarely is it reciprocated.

I don't think APEC cards will be in line anytime soon.

In theory we should be close to "next in line" because we have automated processing already operational in the form of SmartGate.

Essentially - we're yards ahead of the US on that front.

Going on past history, it would likely be Kiwi's for any initial trial - that's what they did with the ESTA and selected Eastbound AirNZ Flights.

As an Australian State - it's the same thing isn't it;)

You have been able to use APEC cards at the cabin crew lane in LAX for at least 3 years. I know it's not electronic entry, but it's very fast.

Exactly - plus GE seem to be working on the basis of reciprocal deals.......
