Gifts for cabin crew

Coming home from the AFF Masterclass, gave my BP and Ferrero Rochers to the FA & CM at door. CM was effusive with her delight - it must have been a long day (but only a 1:50pm QF flight SYD/BNE).

She asked if I wanted anything but I said no. They both mouthed thank you during the flight and the CM as I deplaned gave me this:

Have found the domestic crews particularly appreciative @QF WP

We flew RAK-MAD-FCO recently. All running to time on entry to MAD but then we had a lengthy passport control line ( the machine readers that worked so well the week before were now all wrapped up for a siesta). We then had to get to the transfer train and finally power walking to the gate where they were already boarding. Most passengers were on and it was quiet and I asked the FA for water for us. She was nice, got us water pre flight and it was really appreciated..
During the flight, I found her and told her how much that meant to us as we were flustered, hot and tired. I gave her a QF luggage tag that QF crew had given to me. She was a bit surprised. 10 min later they came through the cabin with drinks and meal that you could pay for. She said I was naughty and why had I not told her we were both OWE. How can you respond to that?
The CSM was also there offering us free drinks. As we still had more travel after FCO, we declined, but it was a nice 2 min love fest all around.
Why not make people feel appreciated?
As a note, all the IB flights in Y assigned us emergency exit seats for free. QF??

We flew MAD-FCO-MAD at end April. MAD-FCO was choca so no recognition from the crew. FCO-MAD was quiet. The chief FC welcomed us and asked if we would like anything. I received a very good Rioja and Mrs Beano was given tea in a china service, teapot and all! Very nice!
