I have had the same crew popup now and then. I do the same for JQ as well.

I had the converse when flying QF to MEL in Biz with Mrs. G to see our first grand-daughter first time. Cabin Chieftess enquired if we were doing anything special in MEL when serving and responded with "Oh, you're making me tear-up now!" after we told her. End result was a fine unopened bottle of Champers with a kind "this is to take to wet the babies head".
