I recived plenty of PM's about if you tell me this I can point you in the right direction so nobody told me . I found something close to what I was looking for by walfron liking a certain page it was just the right timing. All these LM routing are not within the spirit of the program and because they are misplaced in the wrong zones those tickets can be cancelled at any time and I'm sure none of you would want that. For years people have been telling me to do the right thing by the FF program to allow others to use it its seems weird when theirs a error alot of people want in on it.

The free hotels are a simple Brg using intercontintental , crown plaza , holiday inn , etc . I found out because I was going to book a property then received a email from traveleasy.com.au about cheaper prices and I then submitted a few Brg's nothing wrong with that .

Shanyee - the issue (now) is not whether or not the ticket is risky. It is that you, and solely you, are deciding that you won't tell anyone because you have decided it is not in our best interest. If I want to take the risk it is mine alone to do so. You have every right to warn me, and I appreciate the warning. But to decide you don't want to share a deal you have found (and you say you have booked lots of these) because you don't want other people to get caught out doesn't sound genuine. I can understand not wanting to make a deal public. But you are free to privately message people.

Thats it best rate guarantee . Rydges also had the same policy until I got a hold of it and they took it away a week later ;)

Would love more info about the SYD-xx_ redemption. My sister has decided to get married in Europe.

Anyone care to share?

Sounds a bit like a bull in a china shop again :)

Rydges still has a best rate guarantee (although it gives 50% off, rather than free).

Which IMHO is still good. They used to match the price and give 10pc off. There are some people who abuse the heck out of the benefit (for example I could have gotten a 1600 rebate on a multi night stay once ) but sometimes better not to annoy a hotel. All staff can be informed, tricks can be played, and even last minute stuff ups to your booking can occur).

In some cases, banning a guest from a hotel or chain is a viable option. Its all about how you use benefits ....
