Hello,

I was hoping to get some advice on a trip to Japan I am taking later this year.

I booked a flight going from Cairns to Nagoya (Japan). It was a sale fare with Jetstar. Where I really want to end up is Osaka, but because the cheap fare was to Nagoya, I decided to just fly into Nagoya and take the train to Osaka on arrival.

I recently found out that the Cairns to Nagoya flight I am on actually stopsover in Osaka. I also know there will be some people unboarding.

I was wondering if I can also unboard at Osaka even though my ticket says I will be going to Nagoya? It will save me a couple of hours and also a train ticket back to Osaka from Nagoya.

Baggage won't be a problem because I am only taking a carry on.

Thanks for any advice!

Do you have a oneway ticket or a return? If the latter, don't try it since you will likely find your return portion is cancelled. If a oneway then you'll probably be fine
