Get passenger information record updated with special event info?

All, excuse my ignorance but is there anyway to get passenger info records updated with a special event? I ask because I have booked Mrs Colster a special trip for her 40th birthday online with QF. I know previously that a friendly travel agent once managed to get the info updated as to us flying for our wedding which was special because of the extra love that we got on the flight. Anyone with any tips or
tricks? Or do I just annoy the WP QFF people or @Redroo?
