Yes. We had ours in early April last year, the old peoples one so 'strong', but both developed that super flu variant that is incredibly debilitating, in September. I'm holding off for a bit this year.Flu jab always available from March, but generally only provides 4 months protection, so getting it in much wont see you through winter, might need a booster in August. Better to wait to wait another month to get coverage to end of winter. Plus should get new covid booster same time.
How long has it been? Seems ages and must seem like a lifetime for you. Home cooked meals. Your own bed. Priceless. Oh. And a good wife of course.Going home tomorrow.
Just a little happiness.
How disappointing to miss lunch @drron but will be so good to be home with @mrs.dr.ronThe best laid plans of mice or men often fail. This morning found out that the ramp for the front door couldn’t be done until next week and I was advised to stay in hospital. Neither Mrsdrron nor I considered that to be acceptable so now waiting for an ambulance to take me home and not allowed to leave house for a week. Will have visits from the transition care team.
Means no Saturday lunch at the club. But at least I will be back home with Mrsdrron.
